Everything was working fine. Then we upgraded to 2003 .NET. Now when the line [crReportDocument.Load(strReportPath)] executes, the program pops up a Novell Client Login screen, and wants me to give the password for User ASPNET so that the user can be logged in. I am logged in under my personal account and if I tell it to cancel the login several times, the report does run.

We still have the old version in production, and even though we've upgraded to the new framework, it works without this problem.

Does anyone know why it's attempting a log in, and more importantly, how to stop it?

Maybe not related, but I had a .net2003 app that wasn't running as the user that logged on, but was running as the generic ASPNET user.

Under the <authentication mode="Windows"/> in the web.config file for the .net project, I needed to add
<identity impersonate="true"/>

This made the app run as the user instead of ASPNET.

Maybe this would keep your report from running as ASPNET.

Hope this helps!
