executing sql query in crystal

hi

i have this sql query which gets executed but it's rather slow. Is there any other way i can get to generate rpt. I have used passing recordset and it works fine too but this time i would like to have my rpt standalone..

Hi, I think you should try to optimize your query outside crystal and then use it. In the other hand maybe you already know there more ways to get a report done, like using ODBC, that way crystal makes its own SQL.

hi,

actually this query is made by crstal itself. I am using ODBC database and after i do the visual linking and drag -drop the fields on the rpt, the query is made and i can see it by going to show sql under database..
