Hi all,

So my problem is this. I am very new to perl, and am trying to write a nice simple easy counter script, that increments the value
in a text file each time the page is loaded. Now this works fine offline, exactly as it's supposed to. BUT this is only when within a perl command prompt.

How do i get the browser to execute this script without submitting a form, as this is the only way I know to run cgi?????????

Any help given is received with open arms. Thankyou.
