EXECUTING FILES USING ASP

Hi, I'm trying to execute a file using ASP which has basicly got some nasty calculation work to do, if theres no way of using ASP, any other way you can think of doing this, any help greatly appreciated, cheers.

I might be wrong on this, but it's my understanding that ASP won't really let you execute files, since it's just bad practice to give ASP files execute priviledges. By saying nasty calculation work, what exactly do you mean? Have you considered creating a .dll file to handle what the workhorse might be?
