Hi All,
I typically work in Teradata using batch jobs from MVS, in which JCL executes program BTEQMAIN. I'm also able to execute BTEQ from a command line in ISPF. What I would like to do is be able to execute a TSO Session in batch (IKJEFT01, etc.) and then execute BTEQ from the SYSTSIN ddname so that the Teradata session runs as an interactive session versus a batch session. The reason is that I need to be able to execute TSO commands while logged on to Teradata in order to dynamically allocate output files as needed.
Has anyone else done this with any success? If so, can you please supply example JCL?
