Executing a login & password from a shortcut

Hello! I am trying to execute a login & password through a folder shortcut to a shared directory without mapping it. This shared directory is outside the domain but is accessible through our DMZ. I am able to get a .bat file to login & such, but would like to establish a single process to access this folder through this shortcut. Any pointers would be appreciated.

i'd use runas in the script, except you can't script the password....

There is a tool that lets you do this, called CPAU.exe
