Hello!

I´m trying to execute Reports (Crystal 8.5) out of Visual Basic. To log on the Server, I used the SetLogonInfo Method.

On my PC it is working. The TestConnection function returns "true" and it is possible to refresh data.
But on the Users PC it isn´t working. The Test Connection function returns "false".

I do not want to use ODBC. So I removed all ODBC driver for this database because the users don´t have ODBC. But on my PC it is still working.

What is the difference between the SetLogonInfo and the LogOnServer Method, what is meant by it?

What other possibilities do I have?

Thank you in advance.

Nadine

LogOnServer is for when all tables are from the same server. SetLogonInfo is when tables need to be logged into separate servers. What integration method are you using (faq149-237)? Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
