Execute Macro via Webpage

Is it possible to execute a macro via a webpage. Meaning my db has a macro, and I want to it be run quietly on the server when someone hits a button a webpage.

is the database running before they click the button?

If not you can have it open you the database and use the macro switch in the command line to pass what macro to run. (/x macro name)
