execute function on default.aspx.cs from masterpage

Hello,

Ive added a button on my masterpage, on the click event of this masterpage, is tehere any way of me accessing a function that is located on a different page?

e.g. the function (CheckIfSaved) is located in default.aspx.cs, I would like to access this function from the a click event of a button.

Any ideas?
