execute a procedure

Hello All,

I have one general question is that:

can I execute a procedure in a crystal report and specifically from "Add Command"?

My requirement is that when the user runs the report, a procedure needs to be run to populate the values and show them in the report.

Hi,
Depending on the database and the access rights, Crystal can read the results of a stored procedure that is constructed to return a dataset - For Oracle the SP needs to return a REFCURSOR, for instance.

You do not need a Command - If the procedure is correctly written, CR can 'see' it the same way it 'sees' tables and views.
