Hi All,
I tried google to find the answer, but i could not.
is it possible that i am sitting at my local windows pc to get information from remote linux PC after running "ls"? and local windows pc will msgbox out this list.

Thanks very much

Not quite - you have to telnet into the linux pc and run ls from the telnet session. Alternatively, make your PC an X server (you need to install Cygwin/X) and you can launch xterms and all the other nice Linux GUI tools on your PC.

You could also run xdmcp and have the entire Linux desktop on your PC.
