Executable Folder on server error

Hi gurus!
I am working on a intranet site in Visual Interdev. When I modified my ASP page, I try to save the changes and get some nasty error that says: I cannot write to a folder marked as an Executable folder on the server.
What does this mean and how can I save my changes? The project is not under source control as in VSS.
