Exec sp_start_job from proc

When I try to execute a job from a stored proc I get the following error message:
"Could not find the Job"
However the procedure will run from the query analyzer. I check the sysjobs table and it does exists and the name is spelled correctly. Has any body seen this before?

did you see the permission on this store procedure?
Is there a flag that check if that store procedure name already exist in the sys object table?
