I have shell scripts located at C:\Build\Upgrade\upgrade2.sh need to execute on my Aix box folder located at \u01\app\oracle. I can succesfully ftp upgrade.sh file to \u01\app\oracle folder but looks ways to execute that file from \u01\app\oracle location without logging into unix box and running it.

Thanks in advance

without logging into the box! I'm afraid you can't do that! You have to login to the system somehow to execute that script (I mean you have to provide user name and password)

You can though write a script in windows that will login to the aix box (using the user name and password) and then execute this (maybe after modifying the script) into the box.

I'm not sure what this script will do on the /u01/app/oracle but one way could be to share that directory to the windows (using samba software for example) and then execute this script over the directory! But i'm sure that not what you want! I believe you want to run this against a database located on the same box!

What is inside that script? if it is an sql file then you can use the sql-plus to run the script against the database!

Regards,
Khalid
