Hi Guys:
I developed and exe file and uploaded to the dedicated server running svr 2003. The exe file keeps using the old logic. Meaning even though I deleted the old exe file, the new exe file exhibits the same logic as the old one.
I purposely deleted a msg box that was displayed in the old exe file logic. Deleted all files and uploaded the new exe filem But when I click it – it still displays that msg box.
So I scanned for malware / deleted all files and manually cleaned the registry. Then I power cycled the dedicated svr.
I then uploaded the new exe file – and when I clicked on it - the msg box still displayed. I have never experienced anything like this.
The frustrating part is on my local PC the exe works just as expected. Am I looking at a new type of virus? Any ideas…???
