Excuse the probably stupid question, but can an application writen in VB.Net, using Visual Studio 2003, be used on a piece of hardware running Windows CE ?

New to all this so appologies in advance

I'm not really sure but I think that you can, if you only use CompacNET Framework objects and paste it in a new Windows CE project at VS.NET.
 
Yes. It is quite possible, as long as you have the tools. I would start rummaging around to learn some more information, as you have to have some additional packages with Visual Studio.NET, all of which are available for free from Microsoft's website.

Let me know what you find. You'll definitely need the .NET framework as well as the platform building software, but I can't remember off hand what all of that is.
