Exclusive Error Msg Whenever Saving Record in A Form

Hi,
Whenever I am in a particular form and I try to add a record and then save it using the "disk" icon up on the toolbar, it gives me the following error message: "You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. Your design changes will not be saved." First of all I do not have the form in design view, and I am not making any changes to the design of the form. I mearly have the form open in add record view and am trying to save the record that I added. It will let me use the record navigation buttons at the bottom to move forward and save the record, but it will not let me use the disk icon at the top. Any ideas why?

the floppy is not to save your record but yo save design change to the database.

So when you are done with adding records just move the navigation buttons at the bottom back to the previous record. DougP, MCP
