Excluding Values in Dynamic Parameter Field 1

using Crystal 11 w/MS-SQL Server...

I want to enable clients to choose a parameter department dynamically. The table w/departments contains expired department values, however. Without resorting to a static list, is there any way to exclude from the presented parameter value list those departments that have expiration dates?

Instead of using just a table for the department, you could create a Command that filters out all of the departments that have expiration dates in the past. Then use this to create your dynamic prompt.
