I want to exclude some files from the backup, but the file name is as an example 2004.1.24.something.jpg. If I exclude *.jpg it does not exclude this file. Any ideas?

It should exclude them I have just tried it a while ago with 9.1 !!!

make sure when you select the source folder and then click on advanced and select exclude then put *.jpg , you should notice that all *.jpg been deselected from backup list.

Does not work in 8.5, if the file name is as an example "photo.jpg" *.jpg works to exclude the files, but if the file name is "some.photo.jpg" *.jpg does not work.

I have also found that *jpg works but any file with the leters in the that order JPG will not be backed up and this is a problem because I want to backup the files jpgsomething.exe.

I want to have my cake and eat it too.
