Exclude File pattern

Hi,

I filtered the job to exclude file pattern ~*.*, but it attempted to backup some files with names starting ~.

Could someone please let me know if I entered the instruction wrong.

hmmm, maybe try

exclude file pattern ~*.*. I know this is what you tried, but make sure your excluding. From the sounds of it the job did an include ~*.*.

If you did it right then it sounds quite odd. indeed.

Turns out it was an odd incident, and it hasn't repeated itself, so I guess I don't need to worry about it anymore. Thanks for your help.
