**Exchange won't receive email**

Hello,

Last weekend, I put this email server online and live.

Now, for some reason. We are not getting any incoming emails, we can send outgoing emails. But anything coming in, is not being delivered.

I attempted make sure that my Exchange server wasn't serving as an open relay.

Anyone care to help me out? PLEASE! heh

First verify that your public DNS is pointing to the right place. If the server does not have a public IP on it, verify that your NAT is working.

From inside your network try a telnet session to Port 25. At the telnet promot type EHLO and hit enter. It should return a list of SMTP vers and you should see some Exchange verbs listed if all is working.

Check your SMTP Virtual Server and verify that it is configured with the specific IP you want it to listen on.
