i have a problem with one user and only one user account

SYMPTOMS
he can send outbound mail to the internet
he can recieve mail from the local LAN
he cannot CANNOT recieve email from the internet

FAILED ATTEMPTS
removed and re-added from domain completely
removed and re-added from pop3 connector completely
created new account with different naming convention

SUCESSFUL ATTEMPTS
had pop3 send his mail to another user mailbox that
has been present working already

Have you checked at his mailbox level, under protocols tab. You can set protocols to specific users.

Is your Mail connector, ensure that you aren't rejecting messages for this user.

ok i figured out what it was .. for the pop3 connections i have it setup to use a router and check mail every 15 minutes and i was impatient so i kept clicking "deliver now" and the msgs would disapeer .. not supposed to do that but it does. if i just "let it flow" it works
