Exchange username and password

I am using NT4 Terminal server and when setting new users up on the system their is only a 50-50 chance of the user name and domain setting when you put the information in for the first time to log them into outlook 97, if it stays the first time it is perminant. However if it does not stick then it never will.

Any ideas??
