I am running CRM 1.2 on a windows 2000 server and Exchange 2000 on a win2k server also. I am wanting to upgrade exchange from 2000 to 2k3 but leave the OS as win2k. What steps need to be taken with the CRM server to ensure no problems arise. Does the CRM server need to be upgraded to 2003 server if I am using Exchange 2k3?

No the CRM server does not need to be upgraded.
