Exchange SP2 on SBS - cant uninstall Intelligent message filter

as per the instructions outlined by this guy,

when trying to run the Update it fails saying it has a previous version of the intelligent message filter.

so you go to the Add/Remove Programs, and Exchange is listed there, but there is no Intelligent Message Filter at all.

Has anyone come across this, or know of a way around?

I have but it wasn't on a SBS Box. You will need to remove IMF manually. Try this link...

Reinstall it, then uninstall it.
