Exchange Single Mailbox Backup

Hi @all,

we have an exchange cluster with exchange 2000 and we use a non-cluster networker 6.2 to back it up (also Windows 2000 SP3).
After each mailbox I have a timeout of about 7 minutes. Is this normal?
I configured ten mailboxes per group and set up 3 groups.

What are your experiences?

Hi Speridal !

Yes, this is normal. The time between the processes
depends on the size of the Mailboxes as well as
System Performance.
The Client for Exchange extracts the contents of each
Mailbox to something like a *.pst-file. Unfortunately
this needs time to be created.
