I have a head office site and two remote sites with approx 10 users on each site. I have 100 or mailboxes and am worried about the Exchange environment.

Ideally I would like to have 2 Exchange servers in the Head Office and one in each of the sites.

Can I do this and how?

Thanks

100 mailboxes and you're worried? About what exactly?

I maintain our Exchange server at our main facility with over 400 users spread out across the country.

Don't quite see why you think you need four Exchange servers for such a tiny environment.

I've got Exchange boxes with thousands of mailboxes on them. One of Exchange 2003's finer points is a better ROI by having the capability to handle more mailboxes than past versions.

Outlook 2003 in cached mode for all users, and a single Exchange box in your head office. Make sure you have multiple DCs and multiple GCs.

Maybe I was not clear enough. As the maximum database size is 15g (well 16 if you apply a patch). I am trying to be proactive and have some form of redundancy.

Thus 2 Exchange servers at head office and if I install exchange on the two remote sites this will also speed up the remote users access to their emails.

The current database size is 13g and I have exceeded the 15g before ( a massive clearout and a defrag got us back up and running).

Any help?

Upgrade to Enterprise, use cached mode, problem solved.

Installing more Exchange servers will only prove to complicate a simple scenario.
