Exchange Server with outlook installed

I have a Exchange 5.5 sp4 server for internet mail only in my DMZ. The other day I logged in to the server and went into the control panel, mail and then clicked show profiles. There was a list of profiles all named things like this: MSExchangeIMC 0x005cf453.

Are these needed and can someone explain these profiles to me, I didn't create them.
