Hi,

I just ran a relay test on my Exchange 2000 server and out of 19 tests, it says it could relay on 17 of them. I have read all the documentation I can find, and I can't figure out why. I have it set so that only authenticated users can relay, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can anyone offer any suggestions on this as I have no idea.....

Thanks

I found my problem about the relaying, but now I have another problem, The Exchange Information Store service keeps stopping and I have to restart it. I am running 2000 Adv. Server with Active Directory. I also have Black ICE installed (not sure if this would cause a problem or not).

Any thoughts are appreciated.

What do your event logs say?

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

The only info I could find in the event log was something about DCOM (ID 10002). I found some info on this, but it didn't solve the problem. It is doing it every hour or so now. I also have Norton Corporate 9 installed and reset it not to scan the Exchange dir - I actually just rebooted now, so I will monitor that.

Any other suggetions are appreciated.
