I'm trying to find a way to make some disk space available to exchange, so that I can access.

If the paging file is on the same volume, you could resize it, and/or move it to another partition. This should free up enough disk space to begin cleanup.
Also check to see if your exchange logs are taking up a lot of space. In general, your Full Backup of the information store should also flush the logs. If this is not the case, you may want to delete or move the older log files to another partition (not the recent ones).
Also check if your backup logs and catalog files are taking up a lot of space. If not properly configured, it can take up a lot of disk space.

When you have Internet Mail connector running with the option to archive all messages this can take a lot of space on you disk.

These messages are located in \exchsrvr\imcdata\in\archive , \exchsrvr\imcdata\out\archive and
\exchsrvr\imcdata\pickup\archive

Delete them, or if you need these: burn them on CD/DVD or put them on tape

Thanx,

Lon
