I have Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 running on a Windows 2000 Server machine and it handles all the inter-office email. I also have Norton Anti Virus running and it is scheduled to scna the system at 2 am every day. Every day it catches an instance of the Netsky virus and this crashes svchost.exe and also the Exchange Server. NAV goes ahead and quarantines the file but Exchange Server stops. Every morning, I have to reboot the system and restart Exchange. This makes everything work fine again.
I was told that this might have to do with the Exchange files but I'm not too sure. If anyone could help me get rid of this problem, that would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
