EXCHANGE & SENDMAIL IN MS OUTLOOK 2000

We are running a multi-site wan with an Exchange server that is only used for public calendars and a server running sendmail that pushes the mail in and out. Everyone can send and recieve fine. The only two users that cannot SEND have MS OUTLOOK 2000 installed and are the only two that connect to the public calendars in Exchange. These users must be connected to Exchange and the Sendmail server. When you configure outlook express on these machine mail sends out just fine. This problem effected both machines simaltaneously. Any ideas?
