Hi
We have an issue with exchange sending out the same email over and over again. We have recently just taken over another company who have a groupwise server this is now relaying email down a vpn through our exchange server. The issue is every so often an email just sits in the queue and gets sent to each mx record of a specified server in turn. So it will send the email to mx1 for mail server 1 and then mx2 for mail server 2 until it runs out of servers. I have checked the logs and after the data command is completed you normally see a "250 ok email accepted" but with these emails you just get a 220 command and it moves onto the next mx record. I have checked the headers of the emails and they seem ok and i have tested it later on with the same email and it works fine.
