I'm trying to send emails to one of our Unix boxes but it keeps getting bounced back,
Error = Delivery failed
550 Cannot route to <>
No recipients were successfully delivered to.
I can telnet to the box on port 25 ok. But my email keeps getting routed to the outside world and bounced back by our isp. My set up is as follows..
Exchange 5.5
Mimesweeper
Then out to isp
I'm trying to send it as .. user@box.mydomain.com , now I know it's being routed outside because it's not user@mydomain.com
I've created a forced route on the mimesweeper box the looks like
anything to box.mydomian.com send to 'box' port 25 preference 1 , but it's not making a difference and it shouldn't be getting that far anyway the exchange server should route it to the box.
Any ideas what i need to do in order to get this working, apparently it used to work on the old exchange server. but I cant see any differences.
Many thanks
