Just thought I would post this here, it is link to an exchange article with a solution to a problem I was having. User at another site (one we do not manage but assist) had a user who was fired, account deleted, mailbox deleted, new user hired with same name so the AD account is the same as the old user (of course new) and then they needed to restore the fired users email 2 years after this. So the basic problem was, cannot exmerge was the restore is done since the AD attributes do not mathch, check the article out below for a solution
