We run Exhange 2003 SP2 Standard. We are considering upgrading to 2007. For you Exchange gurus out there what are your thoughys on 2007? I heard when it first came out it had a few bugs. Is there a link I can go to read up on the recommended drive and Raid recommendations? I read somewhere Raid 5 is not a good choice for Exchange.

This question is better suited for forum1582.

It works great, just make sure you install all service packs and rollups. You'd be best informed by going to microsoft.com and reading the whitepapers.

RAID 5 isn't a good idea for anything if you can do RAID 10

raid 5 isnt a good choice - depends on amount of users and budget as well

if it's 20- 30 users etc then differs to spec for 100's of users
there are lots of articles on microsoft's site and nsexchange.org is ok as well

the exchange forum as well would be a better post area as well
