exchange parameters from text files

Hi, folks,

I'm curious about how to get a parameter value from a text file. and if possible, how to write back some values into a text file.

All these to me is a better way to be flexible so that i don't need to change some 'hard-coded' thing again and again.

get parameters from a text file into what application?

If into a macro, you can use the File Open command and read the file contents into the macro. I do this when I want to schedule a macro to run unattended.
