I have just set up an efaq on my company's sql server I have also set up the respective exchange mailboxes on the exchange server to work with it. when I send an email to the mail account e.g. questions@corp.com it is supposed to go to the sql find the closest match and send a response back to that person.Everything works fine when I send it from an address within my LAN, the problem is that when I send a querie through from an outside account e.g. Yahoo it sends an administrative alert to my admin mailbox saying that the recipient could not be found. Now I have gone over the mailbox configuration and everything seems to be okay the smtp, pop3 and imap4 settings are correct.I'm wondering if it is a DNS conflict or something like that. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be much appreciated.
