Exchange Mailboxes & BBerry

Hi,

Just in the process of migrating users over to a new exchange server, BB wise is there anything we need to be aware of?

I have tried with my own account and its rendered useless, we are vesion 3.6 so assuming we need to resync all the desktop clients with the new server & profile etc.

Assume we cant just move mailboxes and expect the berries to function, we are trying to go seamless?

Any help appreciated.

I think you have to make sure the new server has the BESadmin account. Also, after moving the mailbox, you may have to restart the BES Server.

It's not straightforward, but it is possible. I started by moving users between Information Stores and Storage Groups. I haven't done the move between servers yet though, so I cannot be 100% sure.

You can call RIM. It may take awhile to get the right people, but when you do, they know their software really well....
