Exchange Mailbox restore to .Pst

I am running Backp Exec 8.6 and Exchange 5.5. I am backuping up individual mailboxes. Is it possible to restore an individual mailbox directly to a .pst without restoring to the exchange server first?

nope no way at all.

As an alternative - say you don't want the restored mail to appear in the original mailbox - you can use mailbox redirection in BE. Basically restore the mail to another mailbox, or create a mailbox spcifically for this purpose.

Then you can manipulate the restored mail however you wish without affecting the original mailbox.
