Exchange Mail Server/ Outlook Equivalent on ubuntu 11 1

Hi All,

I'm looking for email server on ubuntu platform that work almost like Exchange and support Outlook Client

-For email client on ubuntu 11 which one will have look and feel of outlook and able to connect to exchange?

-Commercial licence is fine..I just need to 2012 recommendation, if you using these combination please post

for a commercial solution check out zimbra (there is also a free edition which may be enough)

alternatively you could configure Postfix & dovecot
postfix provides you outbound mail services & dovecot will provide pop3 or Imap services for outlook(or any other mail client)
squirrel mail can be used to provide webmail if needed.


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

IT will be able to use outlook client.
