Exchange IM Update Contact List

Hi I have just implemented IM Through Exchange 2000 and wondered if ther was an easy way for every user to automatically update their contacts list with any new entries, the problem is we are still a rather small company and as we have more and more new people start it is becomming harder to manually go to every client machine and import the new users. I know the users are stored in a registrty file and wondered if their was a way of making a script that checks to see which users are in the list and then adds any new ones.
