This isn't really a postfix problem, but hopefully someone here can help (or point me in the right direction).
I'm trying to migrate away from an Exchange 5.5 box here, and I'm looking at going to Postfix with Cyrus IMAP on a Debian Woody platform.
All the clients are Outlook 2K. To trial this, I have exported all of one users folders to PST, reconfigured Outlook to IMO and connected to the IMAP server, and re-imported the folders into the IMAP server.
I have identified a problem whereby the "From" field is not copied accross in messages from other Exchange clients. Anyone know a way around this?
The other thing is, I'm trying to make this as painless as possible for an office that has previously been very pro MS. With features like having to manually purge deleted/moved mails from every folder, Outlook 2K makes a pretty crappy IMAP client.
Does anyone who has done this before have any tips or suggestions on how to move away from Exchange to a Linux based solution that has minimal impact on lusers? We will be using none of the groupware functionality other than shared folders which I can implement easily in IMAP.
Thanks.
