Just inherited the responsibility of 'managing' a SBS 2000 network of 10 PCs and a single server running ISA, Exchange, and IIS. It's my first exposure, so there's a lot I don't know. But I learn very fast.
I'm using MS Backup to do daily dumps of Exchange (for backup purposes and to dump the email logs). Suddenly, and without any obvious reason, my exchange backups have doubled in size. I'm not appending; I'm overwriting, so that's not it. And I've checked user mailboxes, and no doubling up there.
I'm selecting System State, then Microsoft Exchange Server > (Servername) > Microsoft Information Store.
Then I'm dumping these to a backup HD.
Any suspicions of what it might be?
