Exchange Development Kit (EDK) connector .... Error Message 1

Hi Everyone,

I am transitioning from a Exchange 2003 Standard edition to Exchange 2010.

The organization is running two 2008 R2 Domain Controller.

I of course made sure to follow the Microsoft recommendation by upgrading the shema, upgrade Exchange 2003 to native mode ..etc

When I launch the "Microsoft Exchange Pre-Deployment Analyser" I get the folowing message below :

"Exchange Development Kit (EDK) connector 'Text Messaging Delivery Agent Connector' was found in the organization. Exchange Server 2010 does not support EDK connectors. This connector will need to remain on existing Exchange 2003 servers."

Since I have been working for this organisation, I don't remember ever using the EDK Kit feature or ever having set up a connector for a Fax server for instance.

I can't not install the HUB TRANSPORT role on my server. THE CAS and HUB role will be installed on the same server.

I have beeb scratching my head on this matter. Can anyone you guys give some hints please.

Remove the text connector if you don't have any kind of SMS gateway. Then it should install fine.

I deleted the 'Text Messaging Delivery Agent Connector' by following the procedure below :

This procedure does work for Exchange 2003 and 2010.

I am able to run the "Microsoft Exchange Pre-Deployment Analyser" without no errors messages.
