Hello.
I have a client machine with exchange 2000 and The client has an old ost on the machine I need to be able to open the old ost. How do I point to it? There is an ost there with no data and then i see the old one and it has 35 mb or so.

Thanks in advance

Which version of Outlook?

Outlook 2002 - Tools > Options > mail accounts > view or change existing mail accounts > "Exchange Server" (Maybe different) > Advanced > Offline settings

Outlook 97 - Tools > Services > "Exchange Server" (Maybe different)> Advanced > Offline Storage.

Disable Offline Storage, then go back in and re-enable picking up the correct OST.

The locations of this vary in the version of Outlook you are running.

Hey thanks for the reply. I did that but I could not seem to point to the old ost. The version is w2k client running exchange 5.5 on the server side. I go to the offline setting but I can't pick out the old ost. I don't get it. I should be ablt to get the ost to show and then pick and see the data.
