I have reinstalled win2k and I have just installed office 2000, when I run Outlook 2000 it just goes straight into 'Personal Folder' I have no options to connect or enter details in for the exchange server.
If I click on the 'Mail' option in control Panel I only get an 'Internet email' account setup.

How do I install the Exchange client. I have not had to do this before on all my other pc.

Thanks
Gary

try :

right click the outlook desktop icon
select properties
on the services tab, click the add button
select Microsoft exchange server
etc

This also won't work as it is not setup for exchange server.

I have found the fix:

Tools, Options, Mail tab you'll find a button for 'Reconfigure Mail Support'. Do that & be sure to select Corporate/Workgroup mode. Once you have enabled that, under Tools, Services you'll have the option to Add the Exchange service.

To further clarify for future readers of this thread, paulha's response is correct if Outlook 2000 is already set for Corporate Workgroup mode. If not, it needs to be enabled first. With Outlook XP (2002) and newer there is no longer a distinction between the CW mode and IMO (Internet Mail Only) mode.
