Exchange Client For Arcserve - EC 1314

When trying to install the ArcServe Exchange Agent I get the following error message: "Failed to get the information for specified account: EC=1314"

I've followed CA's resolution to the letter and cannot get the agent to work.

Has anybody come across this before and know how to resolve it? Thanks for your time.

Log on to the Exchange server where you are installing the agent as the exchange service account, this will fix the problem. Also you could give the account you are using interact with O/S rights this also will fix the problem. TIP if you are using Arcserve 6.6x make sure you patch the client and Arcserve manager with SP2a to fix brick level issues.
