Hello,

If the users Outlook 2003 client is enabled for Cached Exchange Mode, a delayed email will not send at the specified date/time unless the Outlook application is OPEN.

If the outlook 2003 client is using an ONLINE account and not Cached, the delayed email will send at the specified date/time, even tho the outlook application is NOT OPEN

So it works for Online clients but not Cached clients.

Does anyone know how to make a delayed email send at its specified date/time when the outlook client is NOT OPEN but is enabled in Cached Exchange Mode.

Thanks

I would set you outlook to send email immediately.

I dont want to send emails immediately.

Im specifying a DO NOT SEND BEFORE date/time from the Email Options.

Outlook OFF & Cached Exchange Mode Enabled - Will not send delayed email.

Outlook OFF & Cached Exchange Mode Disabled - Will send delayed email.

How can I get the delayed email to send at the specified date and time when outlook is not running with Cached Exchange mode enabled?

Thanks

Just for curiosity, what reason could you have to want to delay email? I do not know why the behavior is different with what you mention, but then again I have never heard of anyone wanting to delay email.
