Exchange and Public Newsgroups

I use a combination of Exchange for server side email and collaboration, Office Outlook for client side email and Outlook Express for newsgroups. Specifically for the Microsoft Partner Newsgroups. Does exchange and/or office outlook support newsgroups without 3rd party extensions?

I'd prefer to view and manage all of my email and newsgroup information through one application, one view etc...

Any ideas?

Exchange supports newsgroups in the Public Folders, which can be accessed via Outlook.

Caveat - there are certain newsgroups that cannot be pushed to public folders. These include the MS hosted ones caused by abuse a while back.
